In video 1 from August 27th, 2025, eastbound Extra 880 rises from the hill east of CP Clark and comes into view. Extra 880 was an invitation-only "dignitary" trip from Washington to Boston intended for Amtrak executives, members of the press and social media.
Speed estimate: 150.4 miles per hour (95 frames, 30 frames per second, 698.5 feet)
Timestamp of video (Ex 880) start: 2025/08/27 12:09:49 EDT

In video 2 from August 28th, 2025, eastbound 2154 rises from the hill east of CP Clark.
Speed estimate for 2154: 150.4 miles per hour (95 frames, 30 frames per second, 698.5 feet)
Timestamp of video (2154) start: 2025/08/28 9:19:13 EDT

In video 3 from August 28th, 2025, westbound 2153 is filmed as it rises up to Midway interlocking about 6 miles away. As there was a lot of heat haze, several mirages formed. 2153 is the de facto "first revenue run" because it departed its origin (Boston) first.
Speed estimate for 2153: 158.75 miles per hour (90 frames, 30 frames per second, 698.5 feet)
Timestamp of video (2153) start: 2025/08/28 10:49:11 EDT
